The President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, has assured that his Government does not share or understand that the PP - with whom he governs in the islands - has suspended the conversations that he was holding with his executive and the Central Government regarding the reception of unaccompanied migrant minors.

This was stated at a press conference after his meeting with the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, this Thursday within the framework of the round of meetings with the heads of regional executives that began three weeks ago.

Clavijo has also shown the "stupefaction" and the "deep disappointment" with which he experienced Wednesday's plenary session in Congress, in which it was planned to address immigration issues and ended up deviating towards other issues, an aspect that he has also criticized the PP for.
