The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands confirms this Tuesday a total of 193 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19, bringing the accumulated cases to 59,383, with 2,158 active, of which 20 are admitted to the ICU and 191 remain hospitalized, while in the last hours no deaths have been reported.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands continues to rise and stands at 53.31 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 99.88 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 151 cases today with a total of 26,790 accumulated cases and 1,643 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria, which due to an incidence in the files does not add new cases in Grafcan although Public Health has declared 18 new positives that will be added to tomorrow's statistics, has 23,199 accumulated and 361 active.
Lanzarote adds 10 new cases with 5,707 accumulated and 85 active; Fuerteventura has 2,493 accumulated cases with 13 more than the previous day and 74 active and La Palma does not add new cases and has 574 accumulated and two active cases.
El Hierro also does not add cases, maintains its accumulated at 372 and no active and La Gomera, adds a new case, so it has 247 and 11 active.
Until this Tuesday, the Ministry details, a total of 1,190,068 PCR tests have been carried out on the islands, of which 2,421 correspond to the previous day
