Canary Islands has declared a state of alert after detecting a failure in telephone communications, which affects partially the service of the Emergency Coordinating Center 112 in the archipelago and other autonomous communities.
Specifically, the problem originated with the operator Telefónica España. This failure caused the service to fail in at least three communities, the Valencian Community, Aragon and the Basque Country, and the failure in the autonomous community, on Tuesday morning.
According to RTVE, 112 has already been restored and the company attributes the failure to "a network update as the cause." For the moment, the regional government has asked to contact the Local Police at 092, the National Police at 091, the Civil Guard at 062, the fire department at 080 or go to the nearest health center in case of emergency.
