The 112 telephone service of Canary Islands has registered this morning "some incidents" due to the network update carried out this Tuesday by the Telefónica company, which has affected "specific services in some companies" in their landlines, such as emergency telephones.
As the Security and Emergencies area of the Government of the Canary Islands has pointed out to Efe, some incidents have been registered that may hinder calls to 112, so it is requested that if it is not possible to contact this number, other emergency services should be called.
It is recommended to contact the Local Police at 092, the National Police at 091, the Civil Guard at 062, the fire department at 080 in case of emergency, or go to the nearest health center.
A meeting is being held at the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands to know, "exactly", what repercussions the network update carried out this Tuesday by the Telefónica company has had.
