The Canary Islands has registered 81 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total accumulated in the archipelago rises to 94,582, while the deaths are at 981 after adding two deaths --one in Tenerife and another in Gran Canaria-- in the last day, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Canary Islands Government.
Thus, of the total cases, 2,066 are active (-365), of which 45 are admitted to the ICU (+2), 197 remain hospitalized (-13) and 1,824 are in their homes (-354). In addition, 91,535 people have overcome the disease so far in the pandemic in the archipelago after receiving hospital discharge 444 people in the last hours.
Regarding the Cumulative Incidence (IA) at 7 days in the Canary Islands, it stands at 26.06 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and the IA at 14 days is at 59.93 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Also, a total of 2,103,330 PCR tests have been carried out in the islands, of which 124,125 were positive, which represents 5.8 percent.
By islands, Tenerife adds 31 positives, accumulating 45,266 cases, of which 1,044 are epidemiologically active (-43), 561 have died (+1) and 43,661 have overcome the disease; Gran Canaria has 36,165 accumulated (+32), of which 775 are active (-327), 332 have died (+1) and 35,058 have been discharged.
For its part, Lanzarote adds four positives, with 6,798 accumulated, of which 96 are active (-6), while it has registered 51 deaths and 6,652 have overcome the disease; Fuerteventura has 4,394 accumulated cases (+13), of which 132 are active (+10), 17 have died and 4,245 have been discharged; and La Palma adds one case and reaches 1,096 accumulated, of which eight are active (+1), 16 have died and 1,072 have been discharged.
Finally, El Hierro remains with an accumulated of 458, of which seven are active, four have died and 447 have overcome the disease; while La Gomera accumulates 402 cases, of which two are active, one has died and 399 have been discharged.
