The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands has confirmed this Sunday 63 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19 in the last day, making a cumulative total of 96,605 infections since the beginning of the pandemic.
Of the total cases, 897 remain active, of which 18 are admitted to an ICU and 64 remain hospitalized, while in the last hours there have been no deaths due to the coronavirus.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 20.18 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 37.04 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 22 cases with a total of 46,153 accumulated cases and 378 cases epidemiologically active; Gran Canaria has 36,876 accumulated cases, 37 more than the previous day and 362 active.
Lanzarote reports two new cases with 7,035 accumulated and 82 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 4,553 accumulated cases, two new cases, and 69 active.
In addition, La Palma does not add new cases and has 1,114 accumulated and three active cases; El Hierro does not register new positives, so its accumulated are 467 and one active. For its part, La Gomera does not add cases, so its accumulated are 406 and remains without active cases.
Until this Sunday, a total of 2,226,991 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 3,185 correspond to the previous day.
