The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reports this Tuesday a total of 305 new cases of COVID-19. The total of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 103,404, with 3,435 active, of which 34 are admitted to the ICU and 214 remain hospitalized. In the last hours, no deaths have been reported in the Archipelago linked to the coronavirus.
The Cumulative Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 98.39 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 179.60 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife adds 142 cases with a total of 1,506 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 120 more than the previous day and 1,462 active. Lanzarote adds 21 new cases with 137 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 18 new cases, and 272 active. La Palma adds three new positives, so it has 43 active. El Hierro does not add new positives, so it has one active. La Gomera adds a new case, so it has 14 active.
As of this Tuesday, a total of 2,401,510 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,560 correspond to Wednesday.
