A reader of La Voz has sent a photo of the storm that flooded the island on Thursday night. This Lanzarote resident wanted to share with this medium that "Thursday was a very intense downpour in the area of La Geria, Uga and Tinajo where it even hailed."
The reader states that "according to the Agriculture Network of the Government of the Canary Islands, 38 mm fell in Tinajo." In addition, he emphasizes that "in Tinajo there were also problems on the road with water, to the point of having to intervene the municipal and civil protection in some points of the municipality."
