Complaints continue about the waits to catch a taxi at Lanzarote Airport. As can be seen in the images to which La Voz has had access, in the early hours of this Wednesday several passengers have had to endure long queues with their suitcases to catch a taxi at the César Manrique airport stop.

"Let's hope that one day VTC companies enter Lanzarote and put an end to the terrible and monopolistic public taxi service on the island," a citizen criticized in statements to this newsroom.

It is not the first time that users have expressed their discomfort and disagreement with the problems of accessing public transport on the island. Last January, a reader reported the long wait he faced to catch a taxi upon landing on the island. On that occasion, he waited 40 minutes to be able to catch a taxi service.

A similar situation occurred in December 2023, when several users faced kilometer-long queues to choose a taxi, as a reader then stated.
