Several taxi drivers have responded to the complaints through La Voz regarding the lack of taxis at Lanzarote Airport, which habitually causes long waiting lines for tourists and locals when they arrive on the island.
In this regard, he assures that at the island's aerodrome "there are many dead hours and we are stopped for a lot of time."
One of the taxi drivers points out that most users are foreigners and that the problem lies in AENA "concentrating many flights from these destinations in simultaneous arrival."
Therefore, they assure that the most effective solution would be to distribute the flights throughout the day. This way, "this would not happen," referring to the long waits.
In total, of the 86 vehicles that make up the Ajey San Bartolomé Cooperative, at least 80 of them work at the Airport and the rest at other points in the municipality.
