A resident of Puerto del Carmen has reported the presence of mobile phone antennas near her house. According to María Pérez, these devices are creating "many inconveniences" and "may harm" the people who live there.
"These antennas have been there for years, but over the years they have been adding complements to them. We, the neighbors, feel worse and worse. It creates headaches, irritability and nervousness. We cannot sleep and when we manage to sleep a couple of hours, we wake up exhausted, we feel mental blocks and so on with several symptoms", this woman laments.
This neighbor demands that the authorities carry out a study on the "danger" that these antennas may have and asks the Tías City Council to report if the devices have their corresponding legality license.
"I am aware that years ago some neighbors filed complaints with the City Council, but nobody did anything. Now, in times of elections, I think it is time for the neighbors to start moving, because we need an explanation about what is going to happen with this situation", she has indicated.
According to what she has pointed out, this antenna is located near the streets Tenecheide, Plazoleta del Vesubio, Venecia and Céar Manrique, in Puerto del Carmen. In addition, there is another smaller antenna, also on Tenecheide street.
