A reader has contacted La Voz to report the poor condition of the lampposts on Avenida de Los Charcos, in Costa Teguise. According to the resident, there is "a lot of neglect" in the town in terms of cleanliness and the state of street furniture.
In the images you can see how one of the lampposts is hanging from some cables about to fall, while the ground and walls of the avenue have major damage. "I hope it doesn't fall on anyone's head," he says.
The reader asks that the Teguise City Council carry out solutions to condition this and other parts of Costa Teguise. "They only know how to talk but there is no municipal management," he says.
It is not the first time that the residents of Costa Teguise have complained about the cleanliness and condition of the town, a discontent that has increased after the damage caused by the torrential rains of April 12.
