A reader has contacted La Voz to report the release of the man who robbed and assaulted his mother in Arrecife. The events occurred last Wednesday when the woman was about to enter the portal of the building where she lives.
The aggressor told the woman that he lived on the third floor and that he was going to enter the portal with her. Without saying a word, he gave her two punches, one on the forehead and the other on the right cheek to steal her bag. This has caused her a large hematoma on her forehead. After that, the man ran away from the place.
For their part, the victim's children came to help her when they heard her scream terrified. After the attack, the woman filed a complaint with the Police and had to go to a health center where she was given a medical report.
In addition, one of her sons went to a well-known leisure establishment in Arrecife where he saw the alleged aggressor "trying to sell the mobile phone he had stolen." Upon seeing him, his son detained him until the Police arrived.
However, the alleged perpetrator of the events was released. That is why the woman's children are asking for justice because their mother is terrified. "My mother is having a very bad time, now she doesn't want to go out and is very scared," says one of them.
