A reader has contacted La Voz to report the state of the playground located on Juan de Quesada street, in Arrecife.
According to this father, "the park should not be open to the public because, just on this Wednesday, he witnessed how three children had accidents while running around the place and falling on the concrete floor at the entrance."
Likewise, the reader assures that the children "hurt themselves a lot" and that if it is not finished, "they should leave it closed."
In addition, he criticizes the damage in the park. "One of the swings is old and is full of graffiti with swear words, while the slide is full of dirt, stained and rusty," he declares.
He also reports that the place "does not have fences on the walls that border the space so that children cannot leave, since the wall is low and we are scared when we go because the children can jump and run towards the road."
Similarly, he asks for a greater provision of furniture in the park "such as swings for the youngest children of 1 and 2 years old," he concludes.
