A nurse from the Insular Hospital has contacted La Voz to report that the loud noise caused by the concerts held in Agramar affects patients and relatives of the medical center.

In a complaint sent to the mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, the worker describes the situation as "shameful and disrespectful", as he assures that "it's a shame how the elderly cannot have a normal rest knowing that they have problems and illnesses".

In this sense, he assures that "the decibels are not normal, the noise echoes on the roof of the hospital". "Above all, they are people, they could be our relatives and they don't have adequate rest", he continues.

This reader complains that "it's not just about these festivals these days, but also about the Christmas fair right in front of the hospital or the nightclubs in La Marina that also make the sound echo".

"Is it normal for an elderly person to die and their relatives are watching over the body and having to do so listening to that music?", the healthcare worker asks.

In addition, he criticizes that "many of the people who attend these concerts park in the Insular Hospital's own parking lot". The reader says that he has sent this complaint to the mayor, but has not received a response.
