Residents in the area of the Charco de San Ginés are frightened by the "insecurity" they experience day after day in one of their streets, specifically in La Añaza. After a long season full of altercations and fights, they have contacted La Voz to show their "fear" in the face of the different events they are witnessing.
"We live with provocations and threats", assures one of the citizens. "An ordeal that we have to endure every day," he added. We are constantly seeing "incapacitated drunks on public roads", "attempted hit-and-runs and escapes with cars at high speed," they say desperately. Just like the event they had to experience firsthand this Sunday, when a man appeared with "a machete" on the street.
They ask for a greater police presence in the neighborhood and also the immediate closure of a premises so that the "martyrdom" ends. A measure that citizens beg to be taken now: "we are going to collect signatures to make the closure effective," they have confessed.
