A reader has contacted La Voz to thank the San Bartolomé City Council for the services and activities dedicated to the elderly in the municipality.
"On behalf of myself and many others, we deeply appreciate the great work you do at the municipal level. Your management is reflected in so many good things that we see and enjoy every day: in the services you provide us, in the activities you promote for the elderly, and in the care with which you always think of our well-being," she notes.
"It is a joy to feel that we continue to be an active and valuable part of this community that we love so much," she continues.
In this regard, she thanks the mayor, Isidro Pérez, for "his dedication, his commitment, his closeness to the people, and for always listening attentively, for promoting projects that improve our quality of life, and for governing with heart, thinking of everyone, but especially those who need it most."
Likewise, she highlights the work of the Councillor for the Elderly and Social Services, Carmen Medina, for "her constant effort, her sensitivity, and for the humane attention she offers us."
"To the entire municipal team, thank you for making San Bartolomé a place where one lives with dignity, joy, and hope, because growing old here, in this town, is feeling at home," she concludes.
