A reader has contacted La Voz to complain about a store that promotes sport shooting with images of minors. "What is surprising is that the owner of the establishment in the capital of the island has encouraged boys and girls to come and practice this sport", the citizen points out, surprised.
As the owner of the premises explains on social networks, "sport shooting is a sport in which the practitioner must shoot a firearm or compressed air weapon." "Olympic shooting for children. Where?. In the new store... in Arrecife", the person in charge of the premises has published on the social network. "Do you dare to play on our shooting range?. Healthy fun creates security", the owner has pointed out on the official Instagram account of the store.
A phrase for which the user has been angry. "Is this legal in Spain? And if it is not, shouldn't those who make this a private business be severely sanctioned?", one of them asks. "From the photograph I don't see a child with a weapon in an Olympic training environment, but he will soon go to shoot out there, maybe tomorrow in the streets", the man laments.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of the Interior on the 'Use of weapons by minors', as the Civil Guard explains in the following link, Spaniards and foreigners over 14 and under 18 years of age residing in Spain, who are in legal possession of a special authorization to use weapons for minors (AEM) may use exclusively for hunting or sports competitions the firearms of the categories 3rd. 2 and 3rd. 3.
