A reader has contacted La Voz to complain about the current situation in Santa María street in the Titerroy neighborhood since, according to him, they have a mealybug plague in the "Indian almond trees."

"We are suffering a serious problem with five trees that we have on the street," says the local resident. "They are full of mealybugs, a white bug, and we can't stand this anymore," he adds.

"We've been like this for ten years, since they were placed. We can't take it anymore," says the Titerroy resident.

The citizen explains that "there is a school next door and this is harmful to health" and adds that they have contacted "Parks and Gardens of the City Council" but "no one appears."

The reader has shared some images of the situation taken by himself.
