A reader is indignant at the accumulation of garbage found in the containers of the Valterra neighborhood in Arrecife. "It's a lack of collaboration", the woman denounces to La Voz.
"We see that the sweepers remove all the garbage and belongings and wash and disinfect" the area, but when morning comes everything "is full of junk again", the reader criticizes. "Ten minutes after cleaning, some neighbors have left everything a mess", she adds.
The worst thing is that "no one knows who leaves all that stuff thrown away", she reveals. She makes it clear that "even if the containers are cleaned every day", "the neighbors do not collaborate", she complains. "Then we want a clean island, but it's in everyone's hands", the worker points out.
In addition, she states that some neighbors "complain to the City Council" and "only criticize and blame the sweepers", she says.
A situation that also affects the streets near the Open Mall, the woman concludes.
