A resident of Arrecife wanted to publish in La Voz the problems they have in La Cristina street, in the Santa Coloma neighborhood of Arrecife to park after the council has decided to paint a yellow line that prevents parking on the road.

This citizen has pointed out that at the end of the dead-end street there is a garage that has a ford in which a neighbor, a member of the Nautical Club of the capital, parks his boat. "A boy from the nautical club puts a boat in, but it must be that since it bothers him when putting the car in the garage," the council put "an entire street in yellow".

In this sense, the citizen has pointed out that the owner of the boat "doesn't even live" in that house and that he only comes "one day or another to put his boat in".

"They have favored him and the neighbors who are there have to fend for themselves, park in a vacant lot or go to Altavista because we don't even have parking," he added.

In this sense, the reader has indicated that this street still has half of the road cut off for months due to some works. "Because this person wants to put his boat in to get in backwards and go out forwards, they have harmed all the neighbors," he stressed.

This neighbor understands that the neighbor needs to "expand his ford a little", but that the entire street cannot be occupied, because "there are many homes on a dead-end street".

"I have to go out at five in the morning to the street to a vacant lot to look for the car," he added. Likewise, this neighbor has conveyed the situation to the mayor through social networks and has also addressed the council.

To conclude, he wonders if the City Council is going to pay all the residents of the area for the ford after putting the yellow line, even those who have not paid for it.
