A resident of Maneje has asked the Arrecife City Council to install video surveillance cameras next to the garbage containers on Guágaro and Mendoza streets, both in the capital neighborhood.
The citizen has pointed out that "unfortunately" some companies in the area throw industrial waste, such as blocks or buckets of paint, next to the neighborhood garbage containers.
"I find it very sad how companies treat their environment because what is in the photo is not private garbage," he insisted in statements to La Voz. Thus, he has asked the council to install cameras to determine who is leaving that garbage next to public containers, instead of giving it its proper treatment.
