A reader of "La Voz de Lanzarote" reports the attempted assault by a young man last Friday, March 31, on a bus driver in the Playa Honda industrial estate area. The events occurred in the afternoon, at 4:00 p.m. specifically inside the bus of line 3 in the direction of Puerto del Carmen.
The reason for the brawl was that the boy "did not press the stop button", so "the driver did not stop" and the bus "continued straight" towards the next stop, according to a girl present there. At which point "the boy started shouting to stop" and before getting off at the corresponding stop, he shouted that "he was going to slap him twice".
Then, when making the stop, the boy "started hitting the glass" and "shouted" at the driver that "he had just left work", reproaching him: Aren't you going to stop or what?, as can be seen in the video.
Finally, he got out of the vehicle and was even reprimanded by an English tourist who was traveling on the bus.
