A reader has contacted La Voz again to denounce the "solution" that the City Council has put to the remains of a lamppost on Avenida del Jablillo, in Costa Teguise.
A few months ago, the reader already complained that several passers-by had tripped over the remains from which cables protrude, which had caused falls.
As can be seen in the image, the Consistory's solution has been to put a cone "anchored to the base" of the old lamppost as a sign so that residents and visitors do not trip.
