The Feluco Paz Gil municipal arena in San Bartolomé experienced an authentic Canarian wrestling festival this Saturday morning. At 11:00 AM, with the stands packed and a spectacular atmosphere, the children's final of the Copa Fundación La Caja de Canarias was held, featuring two old acquaintances: Unión Norte Orvecame and San Bartolomé Graficame Faycan Automoción.

It was more than just a final: it was the long-awaited reunion of two teams that had recently measured forces in the Cabildo League. And this time, thirsty for revenge, Unión Norte Orvecame arrived determined to change history.

From the first moment, the commitment and heart of the northern team were noticeable, signing a choral fight full of intensity. Juan Diego Ramírez shone with his own light, defeating all his adversaries with solvency, and also Itzan Bonilla, whose performance was key, surpassing most of his rivals before falling in the last stretch.

But San Bartolomé did not make it easy. Y. Afonso and Alejandro Betancort offered great performance, defending the local colors with claw and maintaining the pulse until the end.

The final score, 15-19 in favor of Unión Norte Orvecame, certified a well-deserved triumph that fills the northern club with pride. The day was marked by sportsmanship, the passion of the fans and the promising future of Canarian wrestling base.

This new title also comes at a special moment for the northern club, which also celebrated the victory of its senior team on Friday in the XL Copa Fundación La Caja de Canarias, confirming the great moment that Unión Norte is going through in all its categories.

A final to remember, where youth team and fans came together in a day that reaffirms the vitality of our vernacular sport.
