The first day of competition of the 8th edition of the Lanzarote Quemao Class closes leaving spectacular images of a day full of the best world surf and bodyboard on the coast of Lanzarote.
The French Joan Duru and Marc Lacomare have set the level, each getting waves of 10 points, and showing that they know this wave well and have been able to make the most of today's conditions.
“I'm glad to be back, I love this wave and the people of Lanzarote. I am very grateful for the opportunity to compete again in this event. The conditions have been spectacular throughout the day, and I was able to catch two good waves in my series,” commented Marc Lacomare. “This wave is very intense, very powerful. It forms a huge tube, it is an unparalleled sensation.”
