UD Lanzarote visited UD Tamaraceite this Sunday morning, a rival that was not playing for anything, but showed its professionalism and did not want to make things easy for the rojillos. The team was very effective in the final meters, and the two goals scored by Jorge Canillas in the first half paved the way for victory. Santi Rosa closed the scoring in the second half with the third goal.

The match was marked by equality in the first half, with Tamaraceite controlling the ball. The first warning was given by Ale Fuentes in the 21st minute, with a shot that hit the post of the goal. Just five minutes later, Jorge Canillas took advantage of a cross from Ale Fuentes from the left to score at will.

UD Lanzarote increased the differences in the 37th minute of the first half. Ale Fuentes once again starred in the attacking play, went down the right, won the baseline and put a pass to the far post for Jorge Canillas to volley into the back of the net. The score was 0-2 at halftime.

UD Tamaraceite pressed in the first minutes of the second half, but UD Lanzarote could have increased the difference on the counterattack, with Cabillas shooting a good pass from Javi Martín, and the goalkeeper saving low. The sentence would come in the 70th minute, with Ayoze Pérez making an opening for Ale Fuentes's foray down the left and putting the pass of death for Santi Rosa to finish at will.

3-0 victory for UD Lanzarote against UD Tamaraceite, a result that allows the rojillo team to move into second place in the standings and depend on itself to be runner-up. A runner-up that has as its prize the qualification for the Copa del Rey, and that will be contested next Sunday by UD Lanzarote and Unión Sur Yaiza.
