UD Lanzarote continues without knowing defeat in the Ciudad Deportiva Lanzarote, although on Sunday morning they did not play a good game against UD Telde. The rojillos went ahead on the scoreboard at the start of the match and saw Telde turn the score around in the second half. Yaco was in charge of establishing the tie and maintaining the rojillos' streak as a local this season. Telde, with a team full of youth, was able to face Lanzarote and play with great flair.
It only took UD Lanzarote three minutes to get ahead on the scoreboard. An Echedey cross from the left wing was short, Rosmen fought for the ball and the Telde goalkeeper arrived late, knocking down the Lanzarote striker. The penalty was executed by Rosmen, establishing the 1-0 and scoring his eighteenth goal of the season.
The first minutes of the match were dominated by UD Lanzarote, against a Telde that came out asleep on the field, although it woke up as the minutes passed. Echedy tried in the 7th minute with a shot from the edge of the area that went next to the Telde goalpost.
The Gran Canaria team took control of the ball as the minutes passed. UD Lanzarote had many problems in the circulation of the ball, not being able to give several passes in a row and abusing long displacements. Telde's Yeray tested Agoney's reflexes in the 24th minute, sending the UD Lanzarote goalkeeper to a corner kick.
Until the end of the first half, Telde was better on the field, although most of their actions crashed into the defensive barrier of UD Lanzarote. In the 33rd minute, after a lateral foul executed by Kilian, the ball was loose inside the area and Yeray's shot was lost over the crossbar. With the score of 1 to 0, the first part of the match came to an end.
The second half began with the equalizing goal from UD Telde. Kilian executed a corner kick and Angelo, unmarked at the far post, headed into the back of the net. Before this action, Kilian had launched a free kick from the left wing, forcing goalkeeper Agoney to send it to a corner kick.
UD Telde felt comfortable on the field, against a UD Lanzarote that was not capable of taking the initiative of the match and that failed to make good combinations in attack. Telde warned in the 55th minute, with a free kick from Kilian from the edge of the area that Falo took out from under the goalposts. And Telde took the lead on the scoreboard after half an hour of play. Yeray caught a good shot from the front that surprised goalkeeper Agoney.
