Unión Deportiva Lanzarote has expressed its condolences for the death this Monday of Juan Cruz, who was one of the members of the first team of the rojillo team in the 1970/71 season. "Some hard times for the family of the former UD Lanzarote player for the loss of a loved one," they say in a statement.

Juan Cruz belonged to the generation of footballers who defended the UD Lanzarote shirt for the first time.
