UD Lanzarote visited Atlético Victoria on Sunday morning, in a match corresponding to the fourth matchday of Group XII of the Third Federation. The rojillos dominated the match from the beginning, even having a two-goal lead, with goals scored by Gonzalo Di Renzo in the first half. The Tenerife team reduced the difference and put fear into the players led by Leonel “Pipa” Gancedo.

From the beginning of the match, UD Lanzarote took control of the situation and began to generate the first dangerous chances. The first warning was given by Ismael Traore, who got past several defenders, but his pass to the heart of the area did not find any teammates.

A bad ball exit from the locals was taken advantage of by Gonzalo Di Renzo to get the ball in the vicinity of the area and beat goalkeeper Alejandro to make it 0-1. As a result of the goal, UD Lanzarote's dominance was accentuated, having the ball in their possession and playing with the tranquility that comes from being ahead on the scoreboard.

At the edge of halftime, the second goal of UD Lanzarote arrived. Gonzalo Di Renzo connected a shot from the edge of the area, the ball hit a defender and ended up sneaking inside the goal. With 0-2, the first half of the match came to an end.

In the second half, the rainfall condemned Atlético Victoria, a situation that UD Lanzarote took advantage of to be calm on the field. With 20 minutes remaining, the Tenerife team reduced the difference, with Cova scoring the goal that put the locals back in the match.

Despite the uncertainty of the score, UD Lanzarote did not have any difficulties in the minutes remaining until the end of the match, and with the result of 1-2, the match came to an end. The rojillos add the three points to continue leading Group XII of the Third Federation.
