The 21-year-old from Arrecife Daniel Hernández, after appearing in several 'Circuit Watercraft Championships of Spain' in the GT2 category, is currently second in Spain. A category that he has obtained after the celebration of the 'Spanish Watercraft Championship' that took place in Cádiz last weekend, on September 23 and 24.
In the first race that took place last Saturday, the young man finished in second place in the CP2 Promotion circuit. In addition, in the race held last Sunday, he managed to finish third in the same category. "A more technical circuit, with more distance and for which more resistance is needed", explained his coach José Luis Hernández, who is also his father and manager.
The Lanzarote native will return to his watercraft to compete in the last race of the 'Spanish Watercraft Championship' on October 14 and 15, which will take place in Mazagón (Murcia). According to what his father confessed to La Voz, "my son trains once a day with his watercraft", an intense training since "he spends four to five hours a week training", adds his father.
