After two years of pandemic, the Sports City vibrated again with the XXVI Christmas Gymnastics Festival, a show organized by the Cabildo of Lanzarote through the Island Sports Service in which young athletes from five gymnastics clubs on the Island participated.
The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, welcomed gymnasts, family and friends who came to the Sports City to enjoy the work of the gymnasts. A year in which the figure of Carlos Curbelo has been very present, since Curbelo was the presenter of the event during all its editions until his death in 2021.
The participating clubs have been the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Club, Ayatima Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Tenesa Sol Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Salitre Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and Abora Tigotán Artistic Gymnastics Club.
