The Real Club Náutico achieves a great season in the Canary Islands Talent Series

For its part, the RCNA men's triathlon team managed to be third in the general triathlon classification

The generational change in the world of triathlon is more than guaranteed, and the young promises of this sport are coming on strong from the training categories. The triathlon team of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife has been participating this season in the different events of the Canary Islands Triathlon Talent Series 2024, aimed at young triathletes of the archipelago.

A season in which the capital team has conquered the third place in the club classification of the men's category. Four events have been part of this season of the calendar of the Canary Islands Triathlon Talent Series 2024, competition endorsed by the Canary Islands Triathlon Federation.

The Salinetas Triathlon, the RCNA Triathlon - City of Arrecife, and the Mesa del Mar and Agaete Aquathlons, have been the four scoring events that have been held throughout the year, all of them with representatives of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife.

In the children's category, Martina Balea Curbelo has been the fourth classified, and has been on the verge of the podium after not being able to participate in the Agaete Aquathlon. Cristina Benítez de la Cruz, Vega Martín Ruiz, María García Rodríguez and Claudia Rodríguez Pérez, have also been regulars in the different events. And in the men's category, Pau Sánchez Bailina and Alejandro Sham Sajnani, have finished in sixth and seventh position, respectively.

As for the men's cadet category, the fifth place of Hugo Acuña Rodríguez and the sixth position of Joel Izán Concepción Lemes, have been the most outstanding results in the Canary Islands Triathlon Talent Series. Tarek Larrotcha Arco, Knut Anderssen Miranda and Diego Delgado Cerda, have also participated in the different events.

And in the club classification, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife has achieved the third place in the men's category with a total of 98 points, only being surpassed by Chamo Díaz (157) and Club Triator (110). The women's team has finished the competition in seventh position, and at a global level, the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife has been the fifth best club in the Canary Islands.
