The little ones enjoyed the Ironkids Lanzarote 2022 last Friday, a race that combined swimming and running and had different distances depending on the age of the participant.
In the pre-Benjamin category, born in 2015 and 2016, Noah Crumeni took first place, followed by Gael Rodríguez and Jorge Marín. In the women's section, Verónica Fernández was the winner, followed by Gaia Renzullo.
Pablo Merino was crowned champion in the Benjamin category, while Diego Robana and Rafael Plackek took second and third place respectively. In the women's section, the winner was Anna Giordano, while Sophie Näf and Marta Cabrera finished in second and third position.
In the women's Alevín category, Maite Curbelo took first place, followed by Arrieta Pérez and Julia Suárez. In the men's section, Jake Timmons was the one who crossed the finish line in first place, followed by Elías Placek and Miguel Martínez.
On the other hand, it was Jan Cruzado who won in the men's children's category, followed by Rodrigo Callero and Joel Concepción. In the women's children's category, Elizabeth Rosa was the one who crossed the finish line in first place, followed by Julia Rodríguez and Amelie Skiba.
Finally, in the men's cadet category, born in 2007 and 2008, it was Israel Calero who won the title of champion, while Bruno Castro and Aarón Hoyos completed the podium in second and third place. In the women's cadet category, Bianca Acuña was the winner, followed by Anyara Melián and Cristina Capitán.
Club Lanzarote Dolphins congratulates Julia Rodríguez
The swimmer Julia Rodríguez Reyes, from Club Lanzarote Dolphins, was proclaimed runner-up of the Iron Kids in the women's children's category, held last weekend, only behind the champion, Elizabeth Rosa Svyeshnikova.
Julia Rodríguez completed 1,200 meters running, 500 meters of swimming and finished with another 1,200 meters of running with a final time of 18:07.
The president of the club, Hugo Muñoz, has congratulated the young swimmer, who trains every week with her teammates from Lanzarote Dolphins.
