The XVIII RallySprint La Candelaria edition will be the first event of the regional calendar, it will be held on the weekend of February 14 and 15, Friday afternoon will be the administrative and technical checks and the closed park on the central avenue of Tías. Meanwhile, on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., on a seven-kilometer route and three passes in each direction, in a first pass between Candelaria and San Bartolomé.
In the last edition, motor enthusiasts have seen how Óscar Cabrera and Aitor Cambeiro took the victory in the general classification, demonstrating exceptional synchrony and skill throughout the entire route. Álvaro Caballero and Noe González and Rayco Rodríguez together with Cristopher Rijo, completed the podium, occupying second and third place respectively, after outstanding performances that maintained tension and enthusiasm until the last moment.
The Candelaria Rally Sprint will not only be a stage for high-level competition, but also a motor festival that allows strengthening ties between fans, drivers, and organizers, contributing to the promotion of motorsport in Lanzarote and bringing the event closer to local businesses and boost consumption.
The Lanzarote Team, expresses its motivation "to carry out a test", which, "never had to remain in oblivion, the fans, the competition teams, wanted it that way, now it's time to get the best out of this Organization and fight with full confidence that in 2026 it will be a regional event".
