The Canary Federation returned on Sunday from the III Spanish Artistic Swimming Championship for Autonomous Communities in the children's category, which took place in A Coruña. In the test, the Canary team was runner-up in Spain due to the good competition of all its athletes.
Among the ten athletes that made up the Canary team, the swimmer from the Club Deportivo Pingüinos Miguel Martínez, the only Lanzarote native in the selection, obtained:
1. A second place in male figures.
2. Runner-up in Spain in the male solo routine.
3. Bronze medal in the mixed doubles category.
In all these results, the Canary team was only surpassed by the Catalan Federation, in which most of its athletes live in the high-performance center.
Congratulations to the Federation and the entire Canary team, which also had very good results in combo, where it obtained a fourth position, and in female solo where it won sixth place.
