The board of the Tao Cicar Wrestling Club celebrated the official presentation of its wrestlers for the 24-25 season last Friday night. The event took place at the “Andrés Curbelo Pollo de Tao” wrestling field and began at 8:15 p.m. As every year, family, friends and fans gathered to support all the members of the various categories of the club, who will defend the colors of the Tao Cicar Wrestling Club in the wrestling grounds.
The first to step onto the sand were the 7 members of the Youth team, followed by the 14 of the Cadet team, 5 of the Children's team, 10 of the Alevín team, 12 of the Benjamin team, 13 of the Prebenjamin team and the 11 of the Senior team. Subsequently, the members of the Technical Body made their appearance, culminating with the presentation of the Board of Directors. The act continued with the presentation of trophies and the official photo.
Next, the “II José Luis Aparicio Morales Canarian Wrestling Memorial” began, pitting the Maxorata Wrestling Club of Fuerteventura against the Tao Cicar Wrestling Club. In a fight full of sportsmanship and emotion, the public supported the wrestlers at all times. Finally, the Maxorata Wrestling Club won with a score of 12 to 8 over the Tao Cicar Wrestling Club. Both teams left the field to the applause of the fans, thus concluding a night in which Canarian Wrestling was the main protagonist.
