The twenty-first edition of the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival "Lolina Curbelo" is already underway. On Thursday afternoon, the inaugural session of the festival took place, bringing together groups from all the gymnastics clubs and schools registered in this edition. The Teguise Municipal Pavilion was filled to enjoy the exercises performed by the young gymnasts, who delighted the more than a thousand spectators who packed the stands of the sports facility. Today the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival will continue with sessions in San Bartolomé and Teguise.
Months of hard training that the young gymnasts have been doing to prepare for their participation in the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival. A job that could finally be staged yesterday afternoon, participating in the inaugural day of the festival. Before the official start of the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival, the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Minister of Sports, Migdalia Machín, and the president, Pedro San Ginés, honored the mentor of this festival. Lolina Curbelo received a bouquet of flowers and a painting with the poster of the twenty-first edition of the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival.
The inaugural session of the Gymnastics Festival lasted approximately two hours and featured 18 different exhibitions from all branches of gymnastics. The groups that participated in this first session of the festival were; Ayatima Gymnastics Club CEIP Antonio Zerolo, AMPA Diamar CEIP Ajei San Bartolomé, Centro Isla AMPA Tomare San Bartolomé, Island Sports Service, Clyb Fayna Skating? Teguise School, Arabic Dance "Samira Rif", Isla de Lanzarote Center Arrecife, Tigotán Artistic Gymnastics Club Arrecife, Ayatima Gymnastics Club CEIP Alfonso Espínola, Santa María de los Volcanes Nazaret School, Capellania del Yágabo César Manrique, International School, Lanzarote Summer Skating and Tigotan Tías Artistic Gymnastics Club.
More than a thousand people filled the stands of the Teguise Municipal Pavilion and enjoyed the gymnastics exercises and exhibitions performed by the little ones. One more sign that the Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival is one of the sporting events that has great support from fans and participants. The Isla de Lanzarote Gymnastics Festival "Lolina Curbelo" will continue this afternoon with a double session. At 6:30 p.m. at the San Bartolomé Municipal Theater and at 8:00 p.m. at the Teguise Municipal Pavilion.
