Richard Nguema, a luxury renewal for Aloe Plus Lanzarote Conejeros

Aloe Plus Lanzarote Conejeros managed to renew the sports link between the entity and Richard Nguema Balboa for the next season, where the Lanzarote team will once again defend the Liga EBA category.

The capital club, chaired by Iván Fernández, managed to get Richard Nguema to renew and thus fulfill his third season in the Lanzarote team. Richard has been a fundamental pillar for the EBA team since he arrived at the entity in the 2018/2019 season, playing in both that and the last one an average of more than 28 minutes per game.

Last season he played a total of 20 games, scoring 209 points, 80 rebounds, giving 54 assists and achieving a rating of 190 points. He was also one of the point guards with the most rebounds per game, as well as in steals and fouls received in the category.

Richard Nguema, who turned 32 last February, is a 1.92 meter player, who trained in the Real Madrid youth academy, debuting in the ACB with the white team in 05/06 and being champion of Spain the following year. He also played in Estudiantes, with two more seasons in ACB; two seasons in Obradoiro, ascending to the ACB in the first season; three seasons in Cáceres, achieving a promotion to LEB Oro and one in Real Canoe. In Equatorial Guinea, he played in Malabo Kings and The Panthers and also tried his luck in Dominican basketball, playing in Cañeros del Este. Last season he was international with his national team, Equatorial Guinea, in search of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations.
