La Barrosa beach, in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), hosted the Spanish and Andalusian Wingfoil Surf-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle Championship, and featured the participation of young Manuel Morillo Fiestas. The sailor from the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife took the lead in the standings from the first heats and dominated the Cadiz event to be crowned Spanish Wingfoil Surf-Slalom champion.

The gusty northeast wind on Sunday at La Barrosa beach allowed the celebration of seven heats of the surf-slalom modality. Manuel Morillo Fiestas claimed victory in five of the seven heats held, placing himself at the top of the general classification with 8 points, with a three-point advantage over the Canarian Jeremy Rodríguez and seven with respect to Leo Zabell.

The meteorological conditions recorded in the south of Spain did not allow for the holding of more events on Monday and Tuesday, with the classification at the end of Sunday's regatta day being valid. Some results that allow Manuel Morillo Fiestas to be proclaimed Spanish Wingfoil Surf-Slalom champion, and to once again place himself at the top of the podium of the national event.

The president of the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, Julio Romero, and the Board of Directors, wish to congratulate Manuel Morillo Fiestas for this new success in his sports career, once again placing the name of the club and of Lanzarote sailing at the top of the podium of the Spanish Wingfoil Championship.
