Magec Tías Lanzarote Contra la Violencia de Género returned without a prize from their visit to Gran Canaria, in a key match against the reserve team of Spar Gran Canaria, with both teams tied in the standings and in a full fight to move away from the compromising positions in the table.

From the start, the Lanzarote team showed a serious and disciplined approach, capable of competing on equal terms for most of the match. The game progressed with a constant back-and-forth on the scoreboard, with minimal leads for one team and then the other. The yellow team opted to focus on the inside game, an aspect that once again caused difficulties for Magec Tías, especially in controlling rebounds. Despite this, the red-and-black team's accuracy from the perimeter allowed them to maintain equality for the first thirty-four minutes of the gameIn the final stretch, the physical wear and tear began to show on the Lanzarote players. Spar Gran Canaria managed their options better, imposing their interior strength and widening the gap in the decisive moments. Although Magec Tías managed to equalize the score at several points, they lacked the necessary freshness to complete the comeback, ultimately losing 74-62, a score that doesn't reflect the tension and balance shown for most of the game

At the end of the match, Jesús García, coach of Magec Tías Lanzarote Contra la Violencia de Género, highlighted the need to persist in daily work to reverse the situation: "We have to keep working to get wins and move away from the bottom," he stated.

The next commitment will be at home, on Saturday at 7:00 PM, when Magec Tías hosts Dishelec 65 Viladecans, currently eighth in the standings with a record of 7 wins and 7 losses. Another opportunity to add points and reinforce the objective of distancing themselves from the dangerous positions
