Magec Tías Against Gender Violence achieved a crucial victory against Terralfas (64-52), thus breaking a series of bad results and taking an important step in the fight for permanence in the Women's League 2. The players from Tías, coached by Cristo González, showed an intensity and concentration superior to that of their rival during a large part of the match, which allowed them to maintain control of the score from beginning to end.

The match began with a Magec Tías Against Gender Violence full of energy. The Lanzarote team jumped onto the court with great defensive intensity and an effective attack that quickly overwhelmed the visiting team. The first half was particularly outstanding, with the local players achieving a 9-point lead at halftime (32-23). Although Terralfas tried to react, the Valencians could not stop the fast and solid game of the Lanzarote team, who were far superior in the offensive aspect.

Margarida Junqueira was the most outstanding player of the first half. The Portuguese player assumed the role of leader in the offense, standing out for her effectiveness in both two-point and three-point shots, and guiding her team with a great capacity to make quick and accurate decisions. Her scoring success was fundamental for Magec Tías to go into halftime with a comfortable lead.

In the second half, Terralfas increased the pressure, managing to cut the distance in the third quarter until they were just one point behind. However, the timeout requested by Cristo González was key to reorganizing the team and regaining superiority. Magec Tías, far from being dominated by the pressure, once again increased their level of play in the last quarter, standing out for their defensive solidity and an attack that proved to be very effective in key moments.

In the last minutes, Magec Tías made their dominance clear, with a lead that reached up to 15 points. The 64-52 victory allows them to breathe in the standings, with a victory that gives them a one-game advantage over the relegation places.

With this victory, Magec Tías not only breaks their negative streak of results, but also takes an important breather in their fight for salvation. The performance at a collective level, the defensive intensity and the teamwork were key to this valuable triumph. Now, the Lanzarote team will focus on their next match, which will be in Madrid, where they will face ESCO Grupo Femenino Alcorcón next Saturday at 7:00 p.m., peninsular time.
