Sixteenth victory of CB Lanzarote Zonzamas in the Silver Honor Division after a great match against CB Palencia Turismo. The girls trained by Juan Rivera took just over ten minutes to dominate the match, increasing the score as the match progressed.
The conejero team was not comfortable at the beginning of the match, as the opponent positioned themselves with a strong defense that was difficult to penetrate. So much so that the score did not move until after the fourth minute played, when the visiting player Paula Fondevila managed to score the first goal from 7 meters. The Palencia team took advantage of this minimal superiority to make a mixed defense to Ariadna Molina, thus rendering the batatera team's player useless.
The situation seemed to be complicated when Chaxiraxi Hernández received the second exclusion of the match when only 8 minutes had elapsed, which greatly conditioned the batateras, who saw how the Palentinas sought to get closer on the scoreboard thanks to outside shots from Laura Gómez and Celia Roldán. It was not until the middle of the first half when the locals managed to go on the scoreboard with a small income of 4 goals, thanks to two counterattacks well finished by Ariadna and Jailene MaldonadAs the minutes passed, the difference on the scoreboard also did, so much so that a partial in the last ten minutes of 5-2, gave a difference of ten goals for Zonzamas, who went to rest with a wide 14-4 on the scoreboard.

The second half began exactly the same as the first, with the Palencia team scoring, thanks to a great combination in attack that Laura García culminated. A partial of 2-2 in the first five minutes foreshadowed that the talk of the coach of the visiting team took effect, although Juan Rivera's girls did not allow Palencia to get into the match, scoring a 2-0 in the next five minutes and extending their difference in 12 goals.
The success in attack and the hardness in defense were the keys of the batatero team throughout the second half, in addition to a demonstration of reflexes by the goalkeeper Cristina Mazaira, who entered the court in the second period, alternating the goal with the youth Marta Brito. It reached the minute 20 with a favorable score of 21-9, at which time players not so usual as the youth Erika Espino, Sara Lemes and Laura González enjoyed a few minutes on the 40x20.

Palencia Turismo was affected in the last minutes by two exclusions practically followed, of the players Paula Fondevila and Constanza Díaz, further complicating the defense with two fewer troops. Finally, at the conclusion of the match with a favorable result of 27-15, after a goal from 7 meters by Paula Fondevila when time had expired.
In this way, Lanzarote Zonzamas continues leader with 33 points out of 34 possible, distancing its main pursuer, Oviedo Balonmano, by 4 points, although with one match less; and 8 points from Rodríguez Cleba, with three matches less. For its part, Palencia Turismo remains at the bottom of the category with 3 points.
