Lanzarote will host, for the first time, one of the events of the National Skateboarding Circuit in the street category. An event that will bring together the best athletes in Spain in the female and male categories and that will be possible thanks to the efforts made by the Youth area of the Cabildo and the Extreme Center.

"We are in luck because it is the first time that a national skateboarding event has been held on the island and in the Canary Islands," celebrates Myriam Barros, Minister of Youth of the Island Council.

Specifically, it will be on May 13 when the facilities of the Extreme Center, located in Playa Honda, host the second event of the 2023 National Skateboarding Circuit after a first stop in the Cadiz municipality of Jerez de la Frontera, as recently announced by the National Skateboarding Committee of the Royal Spanish Skating Federation.

Both dates will give access to 20 participants to the Spanish Street Championship, which will be held at the end of the year.
