Lanzarote Sailing Paradise, third in the cruiser class qualifier

The cruiser class had a meeting this past weekend in the bay of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, with the celebration of the Canary Islands qualifying final for the 2025 Spanish Cruiser Championship. The Real Club Náutico de Arrecife had the participation of the Lanzarote Sailing Paradise, and the boat skippered by Alejandro Morales completed a great weekend, finally conquering the third position in the general classification.

The Canary Islands qualifying final of the cruiser class had the participation of seven boats from Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote. Throughout the two days of competition, the four races planned by the organization were able to be held, with the regattas taking place in excellent wind conditions, blowing with an intensity of 12 to 15 knots throughout the weekend.

Lanzarote Sailing Paradise represented the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife in the competition that took place in Gran Canaria. The boat of the owner Yé Cabrera was skippered on this occasion by Alejandro Morales, had a fairly young crew and the team was composed of Diego Sergio Gutiérrez, Alonso Pérez, Gabriel Gallego, Guillermo Bravo de Laguna, Alejandro Martín, Marcos Peraza. Miguel Ángel Morales and Eva Angelina Perdomo.

The Lanzarote boat was among the first classified from the beginning, starting the competition with a third place in the first race. In the second, it improved its position and crossed the finish line as the second classified. And on Sunday, the Lanzarore Sailing Paradise started the day with a fourth place and was third in the last race.

A regularity that classified the Lanzarote Sailing Paradise in the third position of the general of the Canary Islands qualifying of the cruiser class. The final victory went to the "Solum Tenerife Aedas Homes", with Javier Padrón at the helm, and which obtains the only place that was at stake to represent the Canary Islands in the Spanish Cruiser Championship to be held in Baiona (Pontevedra) in the coming month of October.
