This weekend, April 26 and 27, the Lanzarote Raqueta Club traveled to Tenerife to participate in the Territorial Ranking Tournament (TTR) Sub-17, Sub-19 and Absolute, held in La Laguna. The expedition was composed of eleven players and two coaches, who defended the colors of the island with great level.
In the Sub-17 category, in the men's singles modality, Eduardo Curbelo reached the semifinals, where he fell to Mateo Camejo, from Fuerteventura, by 12-21 and 12-21, achieving a meritorious bronze medal.
In women's singles, Atenea Morales stood out again by being proclaimed champion. In an exciting final, she defeated Celia Cabrera from Majorera by 21-13 and 21-17, thus obtaining a valuable gold medal for Lanzarote.

For its part, in the men's doubles modality, the couple formed by Eduardo Curbelo and Bruno Fernández won the silver medal, after facing the Tenerife players Mateo de Luis and Pablo Homez in the semifinals, who won by 8-21 and 13-21.
The Lanzarote Raqueta Club expedition was composed of Luis Hernández, Eduardo Curbelo, Atenea Morales, Indara Arrocha, Amannay Gómez, Dayana Gómez, Bruno Fernández, Daryl Lezcano, Daniel Rodríguez, Cristian Godoy and Juan Francisco Duarte, accompanied by the coaches Ancor Suárez and Inma Duarte.
The club highlights the excellent performance of its athletes and reaffirms its commitment to continue working with effort and dedication to achieve new goals.
