Lanzarote locals Dylan Donegan and Sol Borelli became under-18 world surfing champions this weekend at the championship held in Punta Rocas, Peru.
Dylan, with a Brazilian father and an Irish mother, grew up in Famara, while Sol is Argentinian but lives in La Santa, the quintessential surfing town. **Both have represented Spain** in this sporting event."It was a very hard-fought final, things went well," Donegan expressed after the competition.
