The judoka from Conejero, Daniel Torres, member of the Arrecife club Waza-ari, qualified, last Sunday, November 14, for the Senior Spanish Championship in -100 kilos, after winning the bronze in the southern sector phase, held in Cáceres.
This edition included the participation of judokas from Extremadura, Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Torres, in addition to winning the bronze medal in his weight, also achieved the triumph in the final match for the classification of the National Absolute.
In this way, the judoka directed by A. Collado will be the only one from Conejero in the Spanish Championship, in which he aims to bring a medal to Lanzarote.
