The Judo Club Costa Teguise Lanzarote (CJCT) has achieved a resounding full of victories this Saturday in the last day of the National Club League "Memorial Francisco Valcárcel" 2025, held in the Pavilion of Villaviciosa de Odón (Madrid). The results allow the Lanzarote team to remain, for the twentieth consecutive year, among the best in Spanish judo.

In its double confrontation of the day, the CJCT won with authority against the Suchil club of Madrid by 4-1 and also surpassed the CD Ronin of Valencia by a tight 3-2, which guarantees them the permanence one more year in the First male Division of national judo.

The team, led by the 5th Dan master Alejandro Ramírez and the delegate and 4th Dan coach Julián Lozano, was made up on this final day by the judokas Xerach Hernández, Pedro Gómez, Álvaro Cano, Koen Antón, Max Laborde and Manuel Rodrigues.

Antonio Ramírez, head of the club, expressed his emotion at the end of the day: "It goes without saying how proud we are of these guys and of the entire quarry that sees how their elders, from Costa Teguise, keep the team at the top, twenty years later. It's something impressive. Congratulations to all, and next year, let's go for more."

With this new feat, the CJCT not only successfully closes the season, but also reaffirms its legacy as one of the historical references of Canarian and national judo.
