The Judo Club Costa Teguise Lanzarote (CJCT) won three medals in the A Spanish Judo Cup (Pyrenees-Pyrénées Trophy-José María Lacasta Memorial) held this weekend in Aragon, at the Olimpia Sports Center in Jaca (Huesca).

The participation of the Teguise club ends with "unbeatable sensations" after winning the gold medal in 81 kilos in the person of the judoka Alexis Rosa. Xerach Hernández reached the second step of the 66-kilo podium, hanging the silver medal around his neck. Finally, in the 73-kilo category, Álvaro Cano Martos won a meritorious bronze medal.

In short, more than a good booty with those three metals was obtained by the CJCT judokas in Huesca, taking the name of Costa Teguise and Lanzarote to the three steps of the podium.

The team manager, Antonio Ramírez, “again shows tons of pride for the judokas of Judo Costa Teguise Lanzarote. Three medals in the A Spanish Cup that, after the national league, keeps our club in the national elite of Judo. Congratulations to our judokas for the metals they have brought to Lanzarote and to continue in the fight for the Lanzarote judo”, concludes Antonio Ramírez.
